There’s strength in numbers, and that’s true for nonprofits as well.
By serving the whole state, the Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations can offer top-notch courses, trainings, seminars, webinars for nonprofit leaders, but it can also advocate at the state and federal levels, and keep leading nonprofits abreast of changes in nonprofit policy.
For 20 years, TANO member-nonprofits have benefited from its library of resources, its GrantStation weekly alerts, its discounts to almost 30 products and services and the general all-around support just by giving executive director Barry Silverberg a call.
So it’s time to celebrate TANO and say thank you. (I know GivingCity appreciates TANO, as it adopted us as a fiscal sponsorship last summer.)
First, check out its new website, hyper-organized so that it’s easy to see the breadth of its offerings and find what you need. One of the best website redesigns I’ve seen in a long time. Take a minute to browse the site now… you’ll be amazed at the work TANO is doing on our behalf.
Second, sponsor it’s first-ever fundraising gala, “Toast 20 Years with TANO” on October 26 in Austin. Sponsorships range from $1,500 – $10,000 and it’s sure to be the “be-seen,” statewide, nonprofit professionals event of the year. (Sponsorships due Sept. 6.)
Third, if you’re a nonprofit or business, become a member. Memberships range from $50 to $500 a year, and when you join you will enjoy plenty of member benefits and discounts, but just as importantly, you will support our sector’s voice on public policy issues. Strength in numbers.
